Fruity Fact Friday-Food Edition

Don't worry Everyone, we haven't forgotten about our deal.
 We're still working towards our Hot Summer bods...RIGHT? How are you guys doing? You still got our back? Cause we have yours!
Easter weekend was probably a bad time to start...Too much good Easter Candy around! But keep up the good work, and there's always tomorrow!

Today, an average American consumes 2-3 pounds of sugar each week.  While at the end of the 19th century (1887-1890), the average American consumed only 5 lbs. per year.  Over the last 20 years, sugar consumption in the U.S. has increased from 26 pounds to 135 lbs. of sugar per person per year.

Whoa...

Big Gulps huh?

  1. WOW!!! That's crazy! I've still got your back, babes! I did pretty good, exercised every day and am training for my first 5K. My only downfall was the leftover Easter candy. :X But, now that that's gone, I'll do a lot better!

  2. Good for you Nat! We've been busy pigging out on Easter candy, but we managed to make some yummy & {healthy-ish} dinners. Keep it up! We'd love to hear some good exercise tips if ya got some :)
