Update on our Roadtrip:

Well I'm sorry to say the our entire trip down was kind of uneventful... I think I was expecting the worse  at the beginning and all I have to report was that little E was an angel.  Doesn't make for a good first roadtrip story huh? (I guess there is always going home...just wait you say.) And I'm sure there were some of you that were hoping that I was to have an epic motherhood meltdown... very sorry to disappoint.  :)

We only had two blowouts and they were towards the end and really weren't that bad.  Probably because daddy changed them.  Heehee.  The last 20 minutes her agitation rose from 0 to 10 from being in the car seat for  that long, but such is expected and was quickly remedied with a couple storybooks.  Love me some Ping Pong Pig.

Tomorrow we go home and what a nice little trip it's been.  To me, it's so strange saying that the funeral was beautiful, but it was.  Death is such a difficult event to deal with, but with the gospel of Jesus Christ,  (learn more here)  it is and will always be comforting to know that we will see our grandpa Wilson again.

We know that he was present as the dedicatory prayer was being spoken at the gravesite.  A single small white butterfly floated about us all as to say ' I'm alright ' and immediately warmed our hearts with his presence.   I am grateful for the gospel in my life.  I have a testimony that families can be together forever. What a simple and comforting thought as we go throughout the darks times we face.

Until next time... Have a {trulie-scrumptious} day!
Love.
Ashlie
