 Roz and I are hoppy to introduce you to our new friend: Ashley! Hop on over to Heart2Heart and take a peep at her blog! Ashley is a beauty inside and out and we're {trulie} excited to have her on board.  Take it away Ashley!!

Well Hello there, my name is Ashley

I am a recently new blogger over at Heart2Heart

where I blog about SERVICE and kindness

Pageants and following dreams

{Chocolate} Indulgences

AND craft tutorials like the one I will be showing you today

We are going to be doing WOOD crafting today for EASTER
which is less than a week away...can you believe it???

Such CUTE but simple eggs that you can finish just in time

Here are the supplies you will need

  • Paint brushes
  • Scissors
  • Wood eggs - found at any craft store (Joann's, Michael's, Hobby Lobby...)
  • Paper
  • Embelishments (I raided the dollar section from Joann's)
  • Paint
  • Sandpaper
  • Pencil
  • Cups or holders for paint
  • AND wood glue
First sand your egg so it is easier to paint

Then start painting your eggs
{I did 3 coats of paint on mine}

Now trace your eggs on the designed paper of your choice
the cut slightly inside the lines

Next take your wood glue and a paint brush and lightly brush the glue
along the egg where the paper will fit and push paper down holding for at least 20 seconds
{You can use mod podge but I found for this particular project
 I like wood glue better since it doesn't bubble and it dries in 10 seconds tops}

Now that you have placed the paper on all of them

It is time to...EMBELISH
{MY FAVORITE PART}

Let your imagination run wild

HAPPY CRAFTING
