Getting To Know You Week #2

What a week so far! 

 {It's been a Gossip Girl marathon week} Sad I've been totally addicted to watching, er sewing!  

But seriously.  

I've got a month before my little E turns one{!} so I've been busy trying to get things corralled together so I won't be a complete mess and have a {mental} breakdown right before her big day.

1: If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you?  

             Limitless amount of books.   Chapstick.  My Spunky.

2: What is one book everyone should read?  

             The Giver. It's one of my favorites.

3: If you could have any superpower what would you choose?  

             Teleportation, so I could go anywhere I wanted without having to pay baggage fees.

4: Harry Potter or Twilight?  

             Harry Potter all the way.  I'd rather be a wizzaaaarrrrd than a vampire ;)

5: Gum or breath mints?  

            Gum, gum, gum.  It's a habit that I will never leave me.

Getting to Know You 11/3

Since I'm all about getting to know my readers a bit better, I find it's easier when you know a tad more about me.  I found this blog hop from HomeMaidSimple, {we're pretty much bloggy BFFs ;} and thought it would be kinda fun to do!  So here's a smidgen more about me {Ashlie} and if you so choose, comment to tell us a bushel and a peck more about you!


What's your favorite season/weather?
I love the fall.  Mainly because I get to pull out all my warm sweaters and get to wear my  obsession plethora of jackets.


PC or Mac?
Mac, Mac, Mac all the WAY!  I love you PC, but I love my MacBook waaay better. 

When you were little, what did you want to be when you "grew up"?
In eighth grade I read a book about a boy and a girl that got to fly to the moon, and I had my heart set on being an astronaut.  Also a ballerina, but I ended up hating ballet.

Favorite music?
Everything! {Although, I could live without alot of the new "Pop" music out there.}  I love everything from Jim Croce, to Beastie Boys, to Steve Miller Band. To Tool, Pherell, QOTSA, Rise Against, and Dashboard Confessionals.  And who doesn't love a Mr. Garth Brooks song in their life?

I get Facebook, but am still trying to figure out twitter...

What TV show/movie/book/do you watch/read that you'd be embarrassed to admit?
I have to confess I love romance novels. I'm not sure why, but since I picked them up in high school, I'm in love.  I don't read them all the time, but when I do, I get kind of addicted and have to read another one.  I also love watching movies i.e. Gone with the Wind or anything thing that people will bring up, and I'll watch it just because I've never seen it before.
