Hey {trulie-scrumptious} friends.. Roz here. I hate to admit it, but I have completely neglected this blog. Thank goodness for Ash bash to pick up my slack ENTIRELY! It's been a rough few weeks in the Rowbury household. My sweet sister in law Linda passed away almost a month ago (It sounds like such a long time but it seems like it happened just last week) Linda's niece Kim wrote a BEAUTIFUL tribute to Linda and graciously let me share her post {here} with you all.... Linda left behind a beautiful family, a husband, three kids and a newborn who is still in the NICU. We are lucky enough to be close to the baby's hospital so we get to visit her almost everyday. But I have lost all motivation for school, blogging, and everything else that doesn't have to do with family. If we're not with family, I'm wishing the entire time I was with them to help out or to give them hugs and kisses. And to top it off, Ashlie's husband was admitted into surgery to get his kidney stones removed. Enough with the hospitals already Right?? It's hard being so far away from everyone, there's no way to help if you're in a completely different State! So please excuse us if we're not on top of our blog, we still love you all and we'll eventually get back into the swing of things. Baby Charlie will be one month this week, so I'm {attempting} to make her a 1 month old appliqued onsies, so stay tuned for that.. I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend ;)
You've had a rough time! Hope everything gets better.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss and heartache! I live in Logan, UT and was told, one day too late, about a benefit dinner that was going on for a family that I think was for your dear sil Linda. (I clicked over on the link you included in this post since your story sounded familiar and their family picture is the one I'm pretty sure was on the flyer for the dinner I saw-correct me if I'm wrong!) The story touched my heart and I could not get that sweet family out of my head. I wished so bad I had been able to go to the benefit dinner for them so I could feel like I was doing something to help. What a small world. I will absolutely be praying for you and your sweet family.
